“How can you sense my feelings and how do you know it will be alright?” Risa asked.

“Your feelings are all over your face. I know things rarely are as bad as we expect. Come, we need to go.” Win said as he led her into what appeared to be a containment area. Every third or fourth cell had a demon or a human in it.

“Anyone want to be freed?” Win asked.

“Are you crazy? Let us out.” A demon with black wings and red horns said.

“You’ll have to be quiet and follow us so everyone can be freed. Okay?” Win asked.

“Anything if you get me out of here.” The demon said.

Win opened the cage and the demon slipped out and quietly stood by. Cage after cage was opened and everyone was calm. That seemed odd. There were too many people here to get back in the helicopters so Win called for more.

“What’s your name?” Win asked the demon he’d freed first.

  “Basilisk for my hypnotic stare.”

“Okay, Basilisk. Take these people and head two miles down the mountain to the extraction point. There’s a helicopter. Tell the pilot Win sent you and he’ll take you to safety.”

“Okay. Come on people. Let’s go.” He led them to the back door.

Risa thought it was smart to get them out of the way. They headed on and got to another section with rooms for guests and employees. “Maybe they kept her here?”

“It’s possible. She is human and could die if treated like they were.” Win agreed.

“Can we get into these rooms?” Risa asked.

  “Xap?” Win asked.

“Sure.” All the rooms clicked open and they began to search. They found three employees first. Those were restrained. The last two rooms were all that was left and Risa was worried. No one in the first they checked. The last one had her sister and she almost passed out, but then she saw her mother and she went out like a light.

“What happened?” Risa asked as confusion clouded her. She looked up at Win’s worried face.

  “What do you remember?”

“We had a concert then we headed out to find Leann. We went to the facility and we were down to two rooms. Oh my God! My mother is alive. They lied to me all this time. What about my dad?”

“He didn’t make it, Risa.” Her mother’s voice floated over to her. “He was severely injured and he died two days later. I wouldn’t eat or drink. The only reason I didn’t die was because of you and Leann. I thought you two needed me.”

“Why are you here? I thought you would be in a cell.”

“They thought we were too delicate to live like that. I’m confused. You seem angry that I’m not dead.”

“Of course not. It was just a shock. I’ve grieved for you all this time.”

“There’s more. One of the scientist, named Louis, we ended up together. He’s a good man and we had a baby. She’s napping although I don’t know how she slept through this.”

  “You remarried?”

“Your dad has been gone for six years. It was lonely and scary without a man. I hope you can understand.”

  “How old is the baby?”

“Three, she’s beautiful. I worried about her being raised here.”

  “She won’t be here anymore.”

“Don’t you want to know her name?”

“Of course. This is a lot to process.”

“Her name is Marie.” Risa could hear her mother shuffling around.

“She looks a lot like you. She’s not Louis’ child. They harvested your father’s seed. I had no choice, you know?”

“I’m sorry they did that to you, Mom.”

“We need to go.” Win broke in. “I think the gods will send someone here to determine what to do with this place.” Win helped her up and herded them all out to the hall.

Lu and his team met them there. “Who is this?”

“My mother and my sisters. It’s a long story.” Risa explained. “Do you have a doctor named Louis?”

“We do. He’s in custody.” Lu explained.

“He’s with my mother. If you could check him out first so he can be with her if he’s okay?” Risa had never felt so confused in her life.

“We’ll do that once we arrive back in San Diego.” Lu promised.

  Chapter 11

  Family

Win was surprised by the revelations of the day. Not nearly as stunned as Risa. Not only was her mother alive, good news by any standards, but she was with a man Risa knew nothing about. That news had hit her hard and Win had to admit he had nothing to compare that to. While all the gods called Cronos father, none of them had a relationship with him.

He kept a tight hold on Risa as he called in the helicopter. It was not safe for it to land much closer than where it had dropped them originally. Four extra people could be fit in with them and Lu would take any others. Risa leaned on him and he figured she had dealt with all she could handle for now. Having to do a concert tomorrow would be tiring for her, but there was no choice. Win wanted to reassure her, but what could he say?

They loaded on the helicopter and her mom and sister sat near them. Sitting by a sister who was almost a stranger was better than the complete strangers that surrounded them. Leann didn’t look as upset as Risa’s mom seemed. Win was sure that woman was near having an emotional melt down. Whether it was because her daughter didn’t seem to be excepting of her new man or because her man was still being held by the demons and kept separate from her, he wasn’t sure.

The relationship between Risa’s mom and the male she claimed would have to be looked into. He thought he could understand why it upset Risa. She regained her sister, but also her mother and gained a stepfather and a new baby sister all in the same day. Her mother didn’t seem to comprehend Risa’s feelings at all. The trip to Whitehorse went smoothly, but the plane wouldn’t hold everyone. The band and the roadies had to get back for their next concert.

Arrangements were made for the others, but Leann and Risa’s mother, named Nancy, and a baby sister Maria, would come with them. A guard would be assigned to them, for everyone’s safety. Win was ready to move on with things and build a life with his mate, but he knew things with her mom, sisters, and new stepfather would have to be worked out first.

Right now they were flying straight to San Francisco. Win had hoped they would be able to play tourist, but everything had changed. Now they were flying up after a hard day’s work tired and emotionally spent. When they landed, they were taken right to the hotel. Risa and he were alone in a room and he was glad. She needed a break from her family. It would give her a chance to come to terms with the new situation. They only had time for a nap before they would have to wake up, shower, and dress to go to the concert location.

They settled into their room and stripped off for bed. He’d hoped she might feel like a little loving, but Risa was shell shocked by all the revelations of the day. Maybe she would feel better when she woke. Both of them were naked and he wrapped his body around her so she would feel comforted enough to sleep.

Win woke up and looked at the clock. It was early yet and they could either sleep longer or have a meal. He was hungry and not just for food and he knew Risa had eaten little yesterday. “Risa, wake up, Baby.”

Her eyes opened and blinked a few times as she struggled to wake. “I think I preferred sleeping. I didn’t have to think about things.”

“So what is the problem? You thought your mom was dead, but now you’ve not only got her back, you have another sister.” Win observed.

“When you say it that way I sound shallow.”

“You sound human. You never thought you’d have to get used to seeing your mom with another man. She’s human too. Give her a chance and you might find you can understand her better than you originally thought.”

“Why do you have to be so reasonable? I want to hate this guy that took my dad’s place.”

“Try to remember he helped your mom and your sister. That alone should make it easier to give him a chance.” Win poi
nted out.

“What does Lu say about him? Is he okay?”

“I haven’t talked to Lu yet but I think if he found something serious, he would have called us. For now, let’s order room service. How about pizza?”

“Get one that’s loaded. All the regular meats, mushrooms, and extra cheese.”

“You’ve got it.” He called in the order, adding wings and cheesy breadsticks. Yum! He almost forgot the drinks but added them at the end.

“We’ll have our feast in half an hour.”

  “I can’t wait. I’m suddenly starving.”

“I’m hungry too, but it’s not for food. At least not just for food.” Win pulled her to him and ravished her mouth thoroughly.

He knew it would have to be quick, but that didn’t mean it couldn’t still be good for both of them. Dropping his mouth to her breasts, he sucked in one nipple then the other and he scented her arousal. Sliding his fingers between her legs, he continued to suck her nipples as he finger fucked her adding a finger and then one more.

She was ready. He positioned his cock at her entrance and slid in slowly. Her channel clenched around him tight as hell. Damn she felt good. Pumping into her, he sped up until he was hammering in hard. Feeling her near her release in no time, he gave it all he had. Risa exploded, jerking and wrapping her legs around him. Win let himself go and shot loads of hot cum deep inside her.

It would be nice to relax now, but food was on the way. He took a quick shower and dressed just in time to answer the knock at the door. The food had arrived and now that his appetite for Risa was temporarily sated, the other one exploded. Win put on his shorts and went to the door.

The food smelled great as he pulled in the tray. Risa went to take her shower while Win fixed them each a plate and snacked on a couple breadsticks. When Risa got back out, fully dressed, they sat and ate their food.

“You look great, do you feel better?” Win asked.

“I do. I am glad my mom is still alive. Once the concerts are over, we’ll work this out.”

They finished eating and Win finished dressing. It was time to meet up with Lu and the gang. They met in Lu’s room and they made their way down to the lobby as a group, while SUVs were pulled up. This would be a long day. They would be meeting a private group for a meet and greet at a luncheon. It would last two hours.

They would go next to a charity event at a children’s hospital. Stef couldn’t say no to kids. After that they would go on to a concert and stay until the event was over. Time moved along well and Win was glad Risa seemed settled. A young girl was chatting Risa up and Lu moved in and herded Win a distance away.

“What do you want to tell me that you don’t want Risa to hear?” Win asked.

“It’s about her mom’s male, Louis.”

  “What about him?”

“He’s a demon. They used to call him Lurid.”

“I remember him. They used him as a med tech. Didn’t he have a tail?”

  “Yes, your point?”

  “Her mother must know.”

“I’m sure she does. Now I need to decide if we tell Risa or risk her wrath?”

‘It’s easy to understand why he was willing to work with them. He probably tried to help the other demons.”

“I won’t know until we get back home. His story sounds innocent enough, but we’ll see. Also the baby has some of his DNA as well as Risa’s dad’s.”

“The hits just keep coming.” Win observed.

“She needs to get over it and move on.”

They finished up their appearance and headed to the concert. It was something he’d never thought would be less than exciting, but it was becoming habit.

By the time the night was done. Win was worn out emotionally. He hated keeping things from Risa and had decided to share. Everyone was driven to the plane where a team had all their bags waiting on them. It was back to San Diego that night. It would be nice to have a day off. They sat near Lu and Risa’s mom and sisters were close by.

No one spoke much and Win figured it was because everyone was fatigued. Risa leaned back with her head on his shoulder and she slept almost until they landed back in San Diego. She woke up just in time to prepare for the landing and they all got off the plane.

“Do you want to go to your home or the hotel?’ Win asked.

“The hotel for now. Maybe we can go home tomorrow.” Risa answered.

They rode with the others in the SUVs that were waiting. This whole trip had been crazy. Once they got to the hotel, everyone went to their rooms to rest. “We need to talk.” Win declared once their door was closed.

“That’s the scariest thing a woman can hear from a man she is in a relationship with. Was all of this family shit too much?” Risa asked.

“No, but it may be for you. Lu gave me some information on Louis. He’s a demon.”

“Okay. So? Is that a bad thing?”

“I didn’t think so, but I thought you might.”

“No, that’s not a problem. It should mean he’s alright. Anything else?”

“You’re little sister also has some of his DNA along with your mom and dad’s.”

“He’s more likely to watch out for Marie since she’s part of him too.”

“I never know what will bother you and what won’t.” Win admitted. “Not that I’m not happy that you’re okay with all that. You won’t get to meet Louis until we get back home. Lu had all the others sent there despite some protests, mostly Louis from what I’ve heard.”

“At least he cares enough to want to be with them.”

“If I understand correctly, he mated your mom. That means he cares enormously.” Win admitted. He wanted to mate Risa now. “Just like I care about you. Are you ready for the next step?”

“I thought you’d never get around to asking.” She replied. Stripping naked, Win watched as Risa did the same. Slipping into bed together, he reached out his hand, to stroke her shoulder softly and move down toward her breast as he kissed her slowly, building the need between them.

Her breasts were the perfect target and he cupped one and lowered his mouth to it, sucking it in until the nipple was pebbled and sensitive. The other one needed equal time so he gave it that. Her soft mewling noises made him hard as a rock and his cock wept with need. She arched her body toward his asking for more and he wanted to give her everything.

His hand moved between her thighs as his mouth continued to work her hard nipples. Risa squirmed making needy noises and Win expected her to demand more. He moved from her breasts to her belly then kissed her navel as his fingers moved south to slip past her slick folds. He up and got on top of her. Her arms wrapped around his neck and her fingers gripped him.

She was ready for him and he had to have her now. His rock hard cock slipped into her heated slick depths. His arm went under one of her knees and he pulled her open better so he could ravage her. He hammered home over and over until she screamed his name as she came squeezing his cock as if she had it in her hand. His gums itched as his fangs dropped and he sank them into her delicate neck where it met her shoulder.

Unable to hold back, he filled her with his cum, rope after rope of white creamy fluid. He jerked into her until he had nothing left to give. It was then that he curled his body around her and she finally went to sleep.

When she woke up, he knew he would be joined to her forever. No one would ever mean more to him and he wanted everything being mated would bring him. Win was ready to accept her family and he wanted them to add offspring to it. The thought of her growing round with a child of his, brought a joy to him he had never felt before. His eyes drifted shut and he joined her.

The phone rang and it was Lu. It hadn’t woke Risa although it was nearly time for her to get up too. Win showered, dressed, and then left to meet Lu. Knocking on his door, it opened immediately and he let him in.

“Just a quick rundown for today. We’re going to have some free time, but we’re leaving for Los Angeles tonight. The guy who sets up the conc
erts set up a private meet and greet for lunch with some rich patrons. Stef said it would be best if we did it. She thinks we’re going to get a sweet offer from one of the big shots that will be there. He wants to see if we’re flexible or some bull shit. She thinks he wants to bring the first group to the island resort we’re building. Honestly, I had no idea how crazy this all would be.”

“It’s okay, Lu. I don’t think anyone will be upset. Especially if it’s a good lunch.” Win chuckled. “What’s one more thing?”

“You sure? This whole trip has been crazy. I never intended this to turn out this way.”

“Nothing but good has come from it. Risa won’t mind. I think she’d prefer to be busy. The others are demon tough. They can handle it. Just let them know.”

“I already did. I waited to tell you because I was worried about you and Risa. You two haven’t had the time I’d hoped for but I scent some good things have happened.”

“The best things have happened. I’ll get back to the room and get her ready.”

“Okay. We’ll be doing San Francisco then Beverly Hills, but there’s no need to come back here since the extraction is complete so pack up. I hope she’s not disappointed, but if we get a break, you two can come back for a honeymoon type trip.”

“I suspect she’ll be glad to get back to the island and on her cyborg project.”

“I hope she doesn’t call it that. The guys may get offended.”

“The guys are the ones that started calling it that. They are even more excited than she is if that’s possible.”

“Who would have expected. We’ll meet in the lobby.”

“See you then.” Win said as he headed back. When he entered the room, Risa was up and ready.

“Sorry my love. No sightseeing in San Diego today. We’re packing up and heading to San Francisco early for a power lunch with movers and shakers.”

“I’ll admit I wanted to visit the house again today, but maybe when we get back.”

“More news, we’re not coming back. There is a bright light. Lu is letting us come back alone soon. He called it a honeymoon.”

  “I’d love that.”
