The man seemed as excited about the raid as AL was. It made him wish he had a moment alone with Herc to discuss his concerns, but Jesus stuck with them like glue. The birds landed and the other gods came toward them with several of Jesus’ crew. Everyone had a bag with them, even Jesus’ men. Most of them would carry weaponry, radios, a change of clothes, zip ties, and some would carry more specific gear like the medic would carry a first aid kit and the computer expert his own notebook computer.

If they intended to blow the place when they left, whoever the bomb expert was would be carrying explosives. Al had been a sharpshooter but he wouldn’t be working that position until he was fully restored health wise. His hands shook sometimes which didn’t bode well for hitting a target. It had started at some time during his stay at the last place, the one where he’d met Ange. That was before he’d met her, though. It had gotten better once he was in her care, but it hadn’t gone away completely.

“Here’s the airport. Everyone get ready, we’re landing.” Jesus warned.

There would be three teams and the gods were spread out with two on each team. Herc and Al were on Jesus’ team with four other guys. That made three teams of seven. That should even out things if Origin had extra guards on site. It was unlikely since extra guards cost and Origin and their supporters were running out of money and resources.

Whenever Origin was caught with another lab or facility, whoever found them first seized the assets. Those assets were never returned. People who were caught working there were questioned and if any of the stink of Origin stuck to them, they were jailed.

The company no longer existed legally and officers and employees were being hunted by ten countries or more. Mexico was one of those countries so moving here had been a risk. A risk they had taken without a second thought, but why? Did they have protection here?

The copters landed and everyone hopped out. They regrouped around three big SUVs. “Each team take their transportation. We will take the front door, Antonio’s team take the back, and Tex, your team goes in the side door. Everyone got it?” Jesus asked. Everyone nodded and nothing more was said.

All the SUVs were exactly alike. They were black and looked like something a fed would drive. Herc sat in the passenger seat, Jesus drove and Al managed to claim the seat behind Herc. The scenery was beautiful reminding him this was a tourist area. Luckily the lab was out of the way far enough no one innocent should be nearby.

The other SUVs veered off and it was just them. They pulled over and parked on a flat spot next to the gravel road. It was time to walk. The road wasn’t much more than a trail with grass growing in the middle and half the gravel had washed off the road.

“Once we get there, my computer genius will hack their security. The cameras will loop and neither the phone nor the alarm in their guard shack at the gate will work. As soon as we’re in, we’ll alert the other teams to move in. If they run into trouble, we’ll be able to help them.” Jesus informed.

Beside the road the tress got thicker the closer they got to the building. Didn’t these people know you kept your perimeter clear so no one could sneak up on you? It was lucky for them, they would be able to get close before anyone knew they were there. Back in the old days Origin had never made mistakes like this or they would have all been freed sooner. He was grateful for every mistake they could take advantage of.

“Stop!” Herc whispered. “Someone is nearby.”

Al slipped quietly through the trees to get a look. It was a guard and he was taking a piss. Waiting until he was done and zipping up his pants, Al got him in a chokehold and eased him to the ground as he succumbed. Slipping his zip ties out of his bag, he restrained him and tore his shirt to place a balled up rag in his mouth.

He returned to his group. “It was a guard but he’s all tied up now.”

“Sometimes I forget about your superior senses. I could use a couple of you on some of my crews.” Jesus noted.

“I’m sure your organization has a few favors they can call in when it’s important enough.” Herc mentioned.

“I’d heard we might, but that would be when it’s life or death.” Jesus admitted. “I suppose there would be no way to lure a god out of your organization?”

“There are a few who live with mates away from our facilities, but they are still connected to us. If one had a mate that lived here and wanted to stay, it would be possible.” Herc observed.

“There’s the gate. Let me check my phone to see if the deed is done.” Jesus explained. “Yes, we can go to the gate. You can take the lead on this.”

Herc and Al approached the gate as if they were out for a casual walk. The guard looked at them suspiciously. “Who are you and how did you get past Ernesto?”

“We were sent by Origin. They think someone that worked at the clinic that got raided was an informant.” Herc admitted.

The guard stepped a little further out of the gate and Herc moved like a snake. He had the guard in a hold putting him to sleep. Al went into the guard shack and opened the gate. Jesus and the others came running up and they all slipped in quietly. This group they were raiding was well known to kill prisoners, erase computers, and destroy files when they realized they were about to be compromised.

They wanted to be stealthy so no one would know they were there until it was too late. As soon as they stepped in the door the familiar scents of medicine, alcohol, and sanitizer hit Al and his hand started shaking. He was a strong male, he wouldn’t allow them to reduce him to a quivering coward. That he was afraid was alright, hell, anyone would be. The loss of control was what upset him.

His stomach was upset and the smell caused all the bad memories to hit at once. Herc moved forward and he followed. Al tried to keep Ange in mind and remember how much he cared for her and what she’d risked to free him.

“She’s here. I can smell her but her scent is slightly altered.” Al admitted.

“You think she’s ill?” Herc asked.”

  “No, just different.” Al observed.

“Let’s move. My men have come in and someone will know we are here soon.” Jesus said. It was followed by a scream. He turned to look at Herc as if to say I told you so.

They moved faster checking doors. The first one was a supply closet and the next an empty office. As they turned at the end of the hall the antiseptic hospital smell got stronger. The first room on that hall had a female that looked like she would give birth at any moment. The sudden appearance of the team terrified her and she seemed ready to scream.

“Sh, we’re here to free you.” Al said.

It seemed to calm her enough that she didn’t scream but her eyes were still wide and she was shivering. She was strapped to the bed and Al loosened the straps freeing her but she didn’t look like she could sit up without help. “Do you want me to help you sit up?” She nodded so he helped out his hand and slid his arm under her.

Once he got her up, he helped her to her chair. That was when water flooded under the chair. “I think we have a problem here. Her water just broke.” Al said.

“Shit!” Herc exclaimed. “We’ll have to catch some of the doctors so they can deliver the baby.”

“Noooo.” She moaned. “Don’t let them touch me.”

Al could hardly blame her for being frightened by the ones that had kept her imprisoned. “Let’s see what we can do.” He wondered if Ange could deliver a baby if she was in good enough condition to even stand.

“We’re going to have to leave you for a bit, but we’ll come back as soon as we can.” Herc said. The woman just nodded and looked worried.

“Let’s get this done.” Jesus yelled.

After that every room had an expectant mother in it with only two rooms left, there were now six women to get out of here. There was medical equipment that Jesus would make some money from so he wouldn’t be empty handed either.

They went in the next room, empty! One last patient room and he hurried inside unable to stand the not knowing. “Holy hell!” Al e
xclaimed. She was there and she was strapped down to the bed. A camera was up on the wall pointed down at her.

“I think this is your friend?” Jupiter asked. “They had a camera on her but no audio. They had the wires backwards. What doofuses! There was a guard watching, but we got him too. We also got a guy who said you were supposed to warn him first. He said someone promised him advanced warning.”

“Guess he was stupid to believe that.” Al said.

“No one would give advance notice. It kind of counters the claim that it’s a raid. It’s always supposed to be a surprise.” Jupiter chuckled. “How’s your friend doing?”

  Chapter 8

  Freed

Ange was certain she was going crazy. It sounded like Al was there right next to her. She’d missed him and celebrated that he’d escaped, but it was impossible that he’d found her. It was a struggle to open her eyes so she didn’t bother. The sedative just seemed to linger in her system refusing to leave.

It might be in part because she’d not been given and fluids and they’d taken her IV out. Had she drank plenty of water, it would have flushed her system and she might be alert now. The nurse that had promised her applesauce, had never returned.

Maybe she was being experimented on? Ange hoped not because the woman had seemed kind. It was a rare trait in this place. Maybe the woman had gotten smarter and fled this place. It’s what she would have done had she known.

”Ange, are you awake?” Al asked. “Come on sweetheart. Please be okay.”

“Can’t open my eyes. Al, are you really here?”

“Yes, I’m really here and I’m taking you home.”

  “No home. Mother’s probably gone.”

“I’ll help you find out. What can we do for you?”

“I need fluids to flush sedatives out.”

  “Water?”

“Yes, that best for now.” She heard the sounds of him getting her a drink and felt it being put to her lips. “It will take some time to clear it out.”

“We don’t have time. Once we are done here, we’ll have to carry her out.” Jesus noted.

Al knew he was right, but he resented it. At least he’d found her and she was alive. Hopefully the sedative was a minor issue. It was an hour later when Herc came back. “We have all the files and computers sent to Jesus’ compound and we’re moving all the prisoners and those we freed except Ange and the lady trying to give birth. In another hour, we all need to clear out of here.”

“She’s improving. Her eyes were open for a while and she just closed them before you came in.” Al offered.

“It won’t be hard to move her. It’ll be okay, Al.” Herc assured.

“What about the woman giving birth?” Al asked and Ange held her breath as she waited for the answer.

“She’s struggling and she won’t let any of the doctors here help her.” Herc admitted.

“What about the nurse that was here earlier? She seemed nice and unaware of what was going on.” Ange said speaking slowly and she was out of breath by the time she finished.

“She must have left, because we found no one like that.” Herc admitted.

“At least she wasn’t caught in this.” Ange noted.

Another hour later and they told her had decided to move Ange and the woman trying to give birth. Ange was feeling better, but not well enough to walk. The woman trying to give birth was screaming, she was in extreme pain. They were loaded in separate helicopters and they took off as soon as they were loaded. She heard a loud explosion and wondered if they’d blown up the place. If they had, good riddance!

“We’re about to land at a nearby compound.” Al yelled, but she barely heard him.

She could feel the descent and then it stopped. They were there now, wherever there was. It wasn’t like she’d known where the place she’d been imprisoned was either and she was happy and grateful to be freed, but too tired to do much.

They carried her off the copter with Al helping and fussing over her. Ange only hoped she didn’t wake up to discover this was all a dream.

“Ange, hang in there. Jesus has a doctor coming in for you and the lady that’s in labor. I’ll be with you or close by the whole time.” Al promised.

Three days later and she was in Olympus and walking beside Al. She’d always dreamed of them being together like this and her life was settled somewhat. Doc had checked her out, confirmed her pregnancy, discovered Al was her baby daddy, and assured her the sedative was out of her system and that it wouldn’t hurt the baby.

She and Al had explored their relationship and it had been incredible, but she didn’t know where it was headed. Kisses and sweet orgasms were great, but would it turn into more? Ange wanted more, so much more. They could be a family that was if Al wanted it as much as she did.

Her mother had died while she was away. Not the way she’d thought she would, but it seemed dear old mother hadn’t been as ill as she’d let on.

It was true she was dying, but she could still get around fine and when Ange had disappeared, she had started taking care of herself. She’d driven to the liquor store and in a hurry to get home and enjoy the liquor, she’d pulled out in front of a semi. Ange felt bad for the truck driver.

Sierra had offered her a job there in medical. It seemed they had a lot of need for a nurse who specialized in the care of mothers and their infants. The only thing left undecided in her life was her relationship with AL. Right now they shared a two bedroom suite each sleeping in their own bedroom.

They ate almost all their meals together and spent a lot of time watching TV and talking. Al worked three days a week either manning a phone or doing research for missions. Tonight they were eating in and Al was fixing them a celebratory meal since she started in medical in the morning.

Entering their suite, it was a surprise to find the meal already fixed and waiting. “How?”

“Cherish fixed the meal so it would be perfect.”

  “That was sweet of her.”

“She’s nice like that, but I will owe her a favor. Let’s sit and eat.” Al suggested.

Ange sat down and Al poured them each a glass of champagne. She picked up her glass and something shiny was on the bottom. “What’s this? Is this a ring?”

“It is.” Al dropped to one knee. “I love you. Will you be my one and only forever?”

“This isn’t just because of the baby, is it?”

“It thrills me that you’re carrying my baby, but this is just about me wanting you as my mate.”

“Yes, yes, and yes again.” Ange yelled as she dropped into his arms. He stood helping her up. “I thought you might not feel the same way I did.”

“Why would you think that?” He asked confused.

“Because you wouldn’t discuss the future.”

“I wanted to give you time to heal and be sure of how you felt.”

“And now?” Ange asked. Al pulled her into his arms and she stared into his hazel eyes. The glowed with need and strength.

“Now I want you to stay with me forever.”

His lips dropped, claiming hers and his tongue speared into her mouth. All his caution seemed to be gone now and all he wanted was to join with her. It felt so damn good and they deserved this coming together after what they’d been through.

Al picked her up and carried her into his bedroom. Setting her down, he stepped back and began to strip. She got the hint and stripped too. Now they were both naked and ready. He picked her up and carried her to the bed. Her pussy wept with desire as need rushed over her.

Once he laid her on the bed he slid on top of her. “I’ve wanted you since the first time I saw you. I was weaker than shit, but I wanted to pull you into my arms and drive my cock deep inside you. It was a bit embarrassing that you got me so hard and then had to give me a bath.” Al admitted.

“I couldn’t take my eyes off your perfect cock. It was embarrassing and I tried to think of you as a patient, but it didn’t help.”

  “All those hours that you
talked to me, it saved my sanity. I knew that someday you would be mine.” Al said and then he sunk into her in one quick push. They both groaned and he just paused, pressed deep inside her filling her full. “This is all I’ve dreamed about since I met you.”

“I’ve wanted nothing more than this since that first day.” Ange admitted.

Al made love to her, slowly and sweetly. He pulled out almost all the way and eased back in until he was completely immerse inside her. Slowly, so slowly she could hardly stand it until his patience seemed to give out too. Now he was moving faster until he was hammering into her. Her channel tightened around him ready to explode. Her orgasm hit her and she clutched at him screaming his name.
