  “This isn’t helping to narrow the list.”

  “It’s going to be a huge list. This seems deeply personal. They’re using his daughter to get to him. That smacks of family. That’s where I’d start.”

  “We can send our suggestions to Hermes mate, Cherish. Her company will probably be used to track down the clues and try to find out who is behind this.”

  “I hope they figure it out.”

  “It’s time for the band and me to head back. Are you coming to watch us?”

  He just smiled back grabbing her hand to pull her along with him to the music room where everyone else was already in position. He got into position and she found the closest available place so she could sit near him. Even though she’d heard all the songs now, she still loved to hear them and watching him sing was a joyful experience. Even the sad songs that made her come close to crying were cathartic for her soul. He looked at her as he sang making her feel he spoke to her soul to soul.   She didn’t intend to publicize the deals she’d made but eventually they would leak out. It would only help build her reputation once they did but she was in no hurry for it to come out and she would be tied up with the demons indefinitely anyway. She headed back to her room where her laptop was set up at a small table in a corner of the room. She opened her emails and started replying as fast as she could. It was her plan to be done when Lu was so they could have supper together.

  She answered the emails in order of priority doing the business ones first then moving to the family ones. She answered Sierra’s but added Doc and Way as recipients to save time once she checked their emails and saw they were all just nosy.   “There was no place I would rather have gone.” She offered.

  “Now that we have that out of the way,” she replied, “what exciting plans did you make for us this evening?”

It occurred to her that if they were doing this to capture a demon better suited to them, they would be after Lucifer. After all, he was the fairest and most talented of the demons. She had already had Devon take stills of Lu and the band individually. It was a common marketing strategy.
